Es hat geklappt: die Weihnachtstazetten (Narcissus tacetta), die ich -wie hier im Blog beschrieben -am 18. November gesetzt hatte, blühen pünktlich zum Weihnachtsfest.Sie stehen auf der Küchenfensterbank und verströmen einen leichten Duft. Tazetten sind nicht winterhart, also kann ich sie nach der Blüte nicht in den Garten pflanzen. Also nur Wegwerfware, oder weiß jemand, was man tun muss, damit sie wiederkommen?

Paperwhites are blooming for Christmas, as I intended when I planted them a few weeks ago.
Well done. I was wishing I had had the foresight as I shopped the florist's section in a grocery store hoping for some paperwhites in bloom for a bleak fireplace. I may have more luck at another (more expensive) florist's today.
